Matthew's mother requested a wedding photograph that I hadn't done in a while...the kiss beneath the veil. Of course, Erica had no objections!

Matthew, be sure to tell your mother to visit any time she likes!

Laura and James will be married at Honeysuckle Hills in June of 2008. I always love engagement sessions because it allows me to get to know my brides and grooms even better. That in turn makes the wedding photography even more special!

Laura & James: I can't wait!

Our happiest bride of 2008 has to be Jennifer! She and Jack had a fabulous time with us, filled with laughter and fun.

Jennifer happens to be an amatuer photographer herself. I hope to see some of her images one day.

Deshawne and Thomas came to Honeysuckle Hills for a wedding photography session after getting married at our historic courthouse in Sevierville, Tennessee. Boy, was it cold! We photographed the majority of our images indoors, then bundled up for a few outside.

Josh, our first groom for 2008, arrived before his lovely bride, Naomi. It's very rare that I get to talk one-on-one for any length of time with the groom. In conversation I discovered that he had a tattoo on his back that Naomi adored...

I call this image "A Wiley Romance..."

Josh is in the armed forces and will be separated from Naomi for a little while. They will be in my prayers until re-united safely.

Let it rain...

This image is from a page in Jill and Michael's wedding album.

December in the Smoky Mountains doesn't always mean snow any more. Most likely we get rain, and temperatures warm enough to allow couples to frolic barefoot in our mountain stream.
