Every couple has that special place where they've created memories. That special place for Tracey and Josh is Cades Cove, one of the most beautiful spots in the Smoky Mountains.

The locations for fabulous engagement portraits are practically endless in Cades Cove!

Karen and Katy had a mother daughter portrait created during their recent visit with us. The teenage years can be trying times for both sides. However, it appears all is well according to the happiness displayed on their faces!

Katy allowed me to do a few shots of just her...

Karen's grandson, Nick, had a high time with our little bunny, Sugar. The look on his face is priceless!

It was extremely difficult to choose only a few of my favorite images to share with you of Brandy and Allen. Brandy decided to run away with Allen for their nuptials, but still wanted what was most important to her, the wedding photography. We had the time to enjoy ourselves and photograph the family not only in wedding attire, but also in casual clothes. I've never seen a family any closer than theirs.

Nadine and Scott visited for their engagement session just before a nice, soaking spring rain. We managed to have plenty of fun creating their photographs before the raindrops began to fall.

Miss Kitty decided she wanted to be a part of the session, too! (Good thing Nadine loves cats as much as we do!)

They say it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day. If that's true, Erin and Kyle will have buckets full of it!

Erin was an easy bride to photograph with bright, sparkling eyes and a ready embrace for Kyle.

Because of the rain, we were able to do some creative wedding images indoors that I probably would not have done had we been able to go outside.

Spring is arriving at Honeysuckle Hills at a steady pace. "Nature's First Green is Gold..." couldn't be a truer statement. Our golden daffodils bloomed just in time to encourage a little flirting between Kristen and Zac.
Daisy, our miniature horse, just couldn't get enough of our lively bride and groom. She followed us around during the entire wedding photography session.

Cassie and Nathan visited just before (what we hope is) the last snow of the season. Lucky for them they stayed snuggled by the fireplace in their cabin for the weekend!

We decided to drive up the road for a few images by a mountain stream. Winter or summer, it's always pretty there, especially with a couple in love.

I can't wait to see them when they return again for their wedding in June!

Gary to the rescue!

After coming down with the flu, my knight in shining armour, dearest husband Gary photographed Mooney and Jay's wedding this Saturday.

Gary and I used to work side by side for years before the birth of Honeysuckle Hills. It was nice to watch him in action again, and see the "male perspective" of his bridal photographs!

Mooney and Jay came all the way from Jackson, MS! If things work out right, we'll be visiting their farm in July. From what I hear, it makes ours look like an ant hill!
